KUALA LUMPUR: At first it was just old advertisement buntings strewn all over the road divider. Now the road users have also to contend with an uneven road surface caused by hardened concrete spills.

Annie George, who is a frequent user of Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, said the buntings had been left there for several weeks now.

She said the road was also in dire need of resurfacing because of the hardened concrete spilled by concrete-mixer trucks from a nearby development project.

"There are many spots in Jalan Maarof with hardened concrete spills."

She urged City Hall to investigate the matter and remove the hardened concrete that could be dangerous to roadusers.

A condominium guard in Jalan Maarof confirmed the concrete spills were recent.

A City Hall spokesperson said the matter would be investigated.
